Sensaroos Training - for Occupational Therapists

This online half day training will equip occupational therapists with fun, practical tools to help their paediatric clients better understand and express their unique sensory profiles. This hands-on session blends evidence-based strategies with playful activities, empowering therapists to confidently support sensory regulation and engagement in therapy.

Run by Occupational Therapists from KaBloom Wellbeing (by Bloom Wellbeing), who are also the creators of the successful Puberty Plus, which has been running since 2017.

This virtual training will be held via Zoom.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand the foundations of sensory processing and how it impacts paediatric participation and behaviour.

• Identify and interpret different sensory profiles in children using the Sensaroos framework and tools.

• Learn practical, play-based strategies to support sensory regulation and engagement in therapy sessions.

• Confidently integrate Sensaroos activities into clinical practice to enhance assessment and intervention.

• Improve communication with children and families by using child-friendly sensory language and resources.
